Temperatures and Sunlight remain low here on the farm at Flouer. So, while we await our own outdoor-grown Peonies and Seasonal Flower crops - imminent later in Spring - we have the great pleasure to curate and share with you some of the very highest quality seasonal flowers from the best growers across Great Britain.

And when you think tulip growers in Great Britain you must think of Smith & Munson. Much like our own long history in farming (though flowers are newer to us), Smith & Munson are 5th generation growers of quality British flowers since 1949.

This week, I’m excited to curate a special mix of rarer Smith & Munson early tulips.

The bunch includes a mix of peach, pink, lilac and green and white tulips.

Varieties: Verona Sunrise, Password, Candy Prince, Sanne.

VAT is included in the displayed price. This option is for collection from the farm @ Hadden Farm Ltd, Kelso or our shop/studio at no 4 the Hirsel Homestead, at an pre-agreed time (please confirm by email).

Tulips and branches will be a simple wrapped bunch with exposed stems unless advised otherwise. When you get the tulips home, all you will need to do is snip a couple of mms from the very ends off the tulips and a fresh cut on the branches and arrange them in a tall vase or jug with plenty of cold water. For longevity - keep away from hot radiators. Tulips will continue to grow in the vase so refresh with cold water every few days and if they grow too leggy you can snip the stems shorter (although the wild errant look is a total spring vibe). Curated small bunches for collection have 7 tulip stems (and do not include the Super Parrot variety or include more than two petite branches). Medium size bunches include 10 tulip stems, and large bunches - 12 tulip stems along with many more flowering/spring branches. Exact colours and varieties included may change slightly to ensure you receive the very freshest quality tulips. Price includes VAT.
