Create Flouer’s Autumn Jewels Floral Pumpkin Arrangement.
Spend a cosy Sunday afternoon creating a beautiful autumnal floral pumpkin arrangement in our studio at the Hirsel Homestead, Hirsel Estate, Coldstream, Scottish Borders TD5 8HU on 25th October, 2.30pm to 4.30pm.
You will carve your pumpkin (orange rubber gloves supplied) and then arrange our jewel coloured autumnal flowers, berries and foliage into a beautiful design to adorn the entrance to your home.
These designs are perfect for cool places around your home or on your doorstep - to get maximum longevity from the carved pumpkin and the flowers (fresh flowers especially like cool night air to last as long as possible) - then bring them onto your table for Halloween weekend, a special lunch, supper or party.
There will be my homemade, hot spiced apple juice and snacks on arrival so that we can have a cosy chat and intro. Should you wish to bring along your own snacks or alternative libations, please feel free.
Design mechanics:
We don’t use floral foam in our designs (it’s toxic plastic) so this arrangement will be created in a water vessel inside the pumpkin. That way you can refresh and amend the design - even swapping out or adding different flowers from your own garden in the following week onwards.
Workshop includes a pumpkin, jewel coloured autumn flowers, berries and foliage and refreshments. Rubber gloves, tools and apron will be supplied. Prices include VAT.
