Flowers are delivered to a designated safe place if no one is at home when we deliver. Day and time in the week is chosen by us to fit into our delivery schedules. If a certain day isn’t suitable please inform us with some warning. Flowers are delivered with simple Kraft paper wrapping and a biodegradable bag on the base of the stems with hydration gel. Once received, simply wash the hydration gel from the ends of the stems (you can simply wash it down the sink), give the stems a small snip on their ends and arrange in a vase or jug of cold water. If the weather has been particularly hot and the flowers are tired looking (the safe place may be quite warm etc) then you can place them (in the vase of cold water) in a cool dark place for a couple of hours. You can even leave them in the garage or outside overnight, if you wish, and the flowers should completely recover. For longevity, avoid placing your vase of flowers on a windowsill, in direct sunlight or near warm radiators. And during the heatwave you can even place your vase of flowers outside on the garden table through the night (or even through the day if your home happens to be very hot).
